Dawn Dances

What is all this? The Brattleboro Dawn Dances are twice annual events, in September and May, on Labor Day and Memorial Day, at the Gibson-Aiken center in Brattleboro, Vermont. Each starts with an English country dance Sunday afternoon, followed by an all night contra dance that evening with three bands, ending at 7am Monday morning. Who are you? We're the Brattleboro Dawn Dance Committee, a non-profit CDSS affiliate that runs these dances, and occasionally also sponsors other area dances.
