Dawn Dance Program Changes

For the 2013 season the Dawn Dance will be undergoing a programming change: there will not be an English Dance component this year.
While we love English dancing and we’re proud that the English Dance has been an important component of the Dawn Dance for many years, the members of the Dawn Dance Committee felt that for a number of reasons we needed to eliminate the English dance segment. This will allow us to focus our organizational energy and make the logistics of putting on the Dawn Dance significantly simpler this year. The contra dance portion of the Dawn Dance will continue as usual, from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am, with three bands and three callers.
